SASE Certification Training

Overview

SASE – The secure access service edge (pronounced “sassy”) is an emerging technology category of products and services that converge SD-WAN with comprehensive network security functions (such as SWG, CASB, FWaaS, and ZTNA).  SASE solutions connect and secure devices together through one global platform.

The category was first defined by Gartner in its Hype Cycle for Enterprise Networking, 2019 and later in The Future of Network Security Is in the Cloud.

Now you can attend an online training class that will position you to take the MEF certification exam and receive your certification in SASE.

The course syllabus:

    • Discuss all the different security apps required to provide enterprise-grade security
      • What are the different modules of protection that an enterprise should have
        • What are the consequences of not having certain modules
        • Relative licensing costs
        • Management requirements
    • Detection and response – how is it done.  How does your enterprise manage this?
    • What is SASE
      • Benefits
      • What is available today
      • What is missing today
    • SASE and SD-WAN

Classes are held online Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.
